Sara and I met at Sacred Heart at our first day of high school (it helps that our last names are in the beginning of the alphabet so we got grouped together a lot). Throughout our tenure in high school, we became best friends. We just had so much in common! Both our families are from El Salvador, we attended Catholic schools, we were studious but still cool ;) etc. We just got along so well! Since high school we’ve stayed close through college, life experiences, and through all the good and bad. She’s always been there for me and I love her so much for that. One of Sara’s best qualities, is that she never judges, all she cares is that her friends and family always be happy. If we’re happy, she’s happy. She’s an incredible person and one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. Through the last 25 years that I’ve had the pleasure to call her a friend, she also became my sister. It only made sense that she become my Maid of Honor on this day I’ll never forget.

Ramiro and I met when we were in the 6th grade together at South Gate Middle School. Our fathers coached our little league baseball teams, so we often competed against each other. We went onto High School together where we expanded our framily circle to include Alan Flores, Constancio Daguimol, Lorenzo Murguia, and Richard Acevedo. Ramiro and I continued our friendship together attending University of California at Santa Barbara; less than 15 minutes from where Jennifer and I will say our vows. We were college roommates for the 4 years we attended UCSB. Needless to say, we have been through it all together and we are brothers by choice.
